Carols at St George’s

What a lovely time we had at St. Georges Nursing Home this evening, we were made to feel so welcome and the Christmas lights were fabulous – the children’s choir loved them.  There was also a Santa’s Grotto and many families were there visiting.

We sang outside first of all under a gazebo covered with Christmas lights.  It was a little on the chilly side but we sang through with plenty of festive cheer and a few movements to keep us warm!  We then went inside and did a walk about, singing to those not able to leave their rooms.  This went down really well and the children even went into some of the rooms to sing songs to the residents, who were so appreciative.

Afterwards St. Georges had laid on a fantastic spread of food for everyone, which was very thoughtful.  Thank you to those of you who were able to join us, it’s great to do a gig like this, which brings much happiness to the elderly and their families within our community.
